At the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio, we wholeheartedly believe that Yoga should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or abilities. Yoga is a versatile practice that can be tailored and adjusted to suit the unique needs of each individual. Our primary mission is to make Yoga and meditation available to diverse populations. If you have any suggestions for specialized classes you'd like to see or participate in, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email.
The Jamie Surya Yoga Studio is proud to offer Trauma Sensitive Yoga, encompassing conditions such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse. We've also introduced a specialized Trauma Sensitive Yoga Course designed for yoga teachers, therapists, healthcare providers, and healers. This course enables us to extend the reach of inclusivity and healing within our community.
At the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio, we take immense pride in creating an environment that is entirely welcoming and safe for everyone. We open our doors to all individuals, regardless of their background, race, religion, gender, or sexual preference.
In alignment with our commitment to inclusivity, we are honored to stand as strong supporters of the Rockland County Pride Center in Nyack, NY. We hold deep respect for the invaluable work they undertake for our LGBTQ community.
