At the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio we believe Yoga should be accessible to every and any body. Yoga is a practice that can always be adapted and modified to fit any individuals needs. It is our mission to offer Yoga and meditation to as many populations as we can. If you have any suggestions on specialty classes you would like to see or attend, feel free to email us.

The Jamie Surya Yoga Studio also offers Trauma Sensitive Yoga which includes anxiety, depression, eating disorders and substance abuse. We also offer a Trauma Sensitive Yoga Course for yoga teachers, therapists, health care providers, and healers, so we can spread this inclusivity to our community.

Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injuries

At the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio, we offer meditation, yoga, breath work and facilitated group discussion, to individuals who have had traumatic injuries and their caregivers free of charge, with the goal of then having them join in on our TBI friendly group classes. 

Our teachers Jamie Surya, Andres Alves, Leigh LaBrake, Jen Gennaro, & MaryJo Hughes are all certified to teach these specific classes and adapt other classes on our schedule to be TBI friendly.

Jamie Surya has created a Mental Health Series, inspired by her Trauma Sensitive Yoga Training for individuals who may be experiencing:
